Receptions in London & Bristol
For many years the WHA has organized and sponsored two annual receptions, one in Bristol in the spring (formerly in the Warden’s House) and one in London in the autumn (in one of the ‘clubs’). We hope to continue this tradition for the foreseeable future!
As autumn begins to turn towards winter, we usually meet in London at one of the clubs (most recently the RAC) for a drinks reception with canapés and a few updates on the activities of the WHA and the Hall. The new JCR President is always invited to address the guests and report on life in Hall.
In years past, the Warden invited members of the WHA to a drinks reception in Downside House in the spring of each year, often with live music. We continue the tradition, but in different surroundings. This event is now sometimes linked with the Graves Lecture and held in the Dame Monica Wills Chapel, but other venues in Bristol are being considered.

Members are emailed about these events well in advance, and details are circulated to current residents via the Residential Life mailing lists.

Support the Wills Hall Association
Wills Hall is rather special. It is the WHA's privilege to make it more special, by contributing to the enhancement of the facilities that make life as a Wills student so distinctive. Via your donations, we provide support for individual students who might from time to time need a boost for special projects, career preparation, or other support, and we underpin group sporting, cultural and charitable activities for which no university or other funding is available.
